PACK THE ESSENTIALS
As the hot tub is outside, we suggest that you bring suitable footwear eg flipflops and a dressing gown for accessing the hot tub. We also recommend you bring wellingtons if you plan to explore the farm.

HEATING
The heating is set on a timer, (will come on automatically in the morning and evening) please do not change this setting.
If you wish to turn on the heating please use the boost function on the thermostat (on the wall in the hallway).
If still running when you leave the property /go to bed, please press the back button to return to the timer setting.
The hot water is set on at all times.
LAUNDRY
The washer-dryer can be found in the under-stair cupboard together with the laundry basket, ironing board and airer. A rotary washing line is provided in the garden.
APPLIANCES
Instruction booklets can be found in the kitchen drawer.
If there is anything not working, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can arrange repairs / replacements. The blu-ray and wii remotes are stored without batteries, spare batteries can be found in the kitchen drawer.
GARDEN FURNITURE
The parasol and cushions for the garden furniture can be found in the cupboard under the stairs – please do not leave out in wet weather, thank you. Please ensure that you use the parasol with the base provided and take down in windy weather.
SHOWER
Use the left hand shower control to select the shower head (1/4 turn forward or back), the right hand control is for the temperature.

Please be aware there are CCTV cameras on the property, covering the entrances to the farm yards and cottages and the parking area. There is no CCTV in private guest areas.
BOB & DILLON
Please do not allow the farm dogs into the cottage or garden area & keep gates shut.
DEPARTURE DAY
We will be coming into the garden to drain and clean the hot tub from 8am.
If you have food left over at the end of your stay, please do not put it in the black bin, please leave it in the kitchen for us to dispose of appropriately, thank you.
Please ensure the property is vacated by 10am.
Hot Tub Safety Information
For your safety and comfort, please follow the hot tub safety rules during your stay.

Instructions for Use
To Open:
Undo the two clips at the front of the tub.
Ensure the lifting bracket bar is in the middle of the lid
Fold the front half of the lid back onto the back half (with the bar in between)
Use the lifting bracket to tip the whole lid to the right.
The lid should then be supported fully by the lifting bracket.
To Close:
Tip the lifting bracket to the left and then unfold the lid. Secure with the clips.

Please do not press the temperature button as this will alter the tub settings.
Please ensure the air, lights and jets are turned off before exiting the hot tub and replace the lid when not in use. If the jets do not turn off, don’t worry – the tub is on a heating or filter cycle.
Please do not sit or stand on the lid
As the hot tub will be cleaned between guests it may not be up to operating temperature (36-38 degrees) at the time of your arrival.
We will require access daily to monitor and adjust chemical levels as necessary
No foot wear to be worn in the tub
Please take care when entering and exiting to avoid slipping
If the water becomes excessively cloudy/discoloured due to misuse, we will have to drain and clean.
If you wish it to be refilled, this will be at an additional cost of £50.

Tourist Information
Holsworthy
Holsworthy is a traditional agricultural market town, with a pannier market in the square and a livestock market on the outskirts of town (both held on a Wednesday)
Annual celebrations include the Holsworthy & Stratton agricultural show, St Peter’s Fair week and the carnival in November.
There is a leisure centre with swimming pool and a park with a new children’s play area. The free museum is located by the main car park, opposite the tourist information office.
Directions
Turn right out of the cottages towards Pyworthy and continue up the hill, straight through the village. At the bottom of the hill turn left. The first right turn will take you to Waitrose. The road will otherwise take you to the town centre.
Bude
Bude is a popular seaside town, with plenty of activities for all the family. With Bude’s canal, beaches and sea pool, there is something for everyone. The Castle, Bude has a museum & gallery and there are events held on The Castle Green all through the year. A very popular farmers market is held on the wharf every Friday during the summer. Annual events include Bude Jazz week, Bude Food Festival & Bude & Stratton Heritage Festival.
Directions
Turn left out of the cottages. At the cross roads turn left. Continue through Bridgerule until you come to the main Bude / Launceston road (B3254). Turn right and then turn left at the next main road (Red post). Follow this road through Stratton until you meet the main A39. Turn left and then the next right (opposite the Veterinary Surgery), this road will take you into the town centre.
